Artistry in Stone
Transforming Stone with Precision
Emerging Artist

WHO AM I?
I'm Rhys Gower, a devoted husband and father of five. My incredible journey with stone began in quarries, sparking a passionate career in stonemasonry. I was able to refine my skills at Bath and Weymouth Colleges mastering architectural masonry, carving and letter cutting. I started my adventure as a sawyer at Albion Stone Quarry and I later focussed on restoration in the beautiful City of Bath.
With a remarkable portfolio that includes collaborations with English Heritage, British Waterways and the National Trust I feel honoured that I was able to restore and transform historical buildings such as Shaw House, Doric House,
The Circus in Bath, Stourhead, Salisbury Cathedral, Pinkney Park Estate, Kelston Knoll, Hannington Hall and Bath’s Royal Crescent and many more.
I am now venturing into my greatest passion as a self-employed artisan creating stunning stone unique art sculptures that beautifully combine utility and artistry leaving an unforgettable mark in stone
