Artistry in Stone
Transforming Stone with Precision
Emerging Artist

Who I Am
I am a stonemason and sculptor working under the name Artistry in Stone.
My background is rooted in professional stonemasonry, with years of experience working in architectural stonework and heritage restoration. This has included projects on historic buildings and sites in collaboration with organisation such as English Heritage, The National Trust and British Waterways.
Through this work, I developed a deep understanding of stone as a material - its limitations, its durability and the level of care required to shape it responsibly.
Traditional techniques, hand tools and respect for material integrity continue to underpin my approach.
Alongside architectural work, my practice has evolved toward sculptural pieces that sit between function and art. Drawing of industrial history, classical reference and the physical process of carving, I create original works intended to be lived with, used and experienced over time.
All pieces are carved by hand and each work is made as a singular object rather than part of a series.
Commissions are welcomed where the material, scale and intent align with the practice.
